Former Asante Kotoko player, Daniel Bomfa, has issued a stern warning to the current members of the club, advising them to deliver exceptional results or face the wrath of their passionate fans.
Under the guidance of head coach Prosper Ogum, who has been actively reconstructing the team, Asante Kotoko has made nearly a dozen new signings since his return to the club.
Bomfa is adamant that the team must make an immediate impact when they begin their 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign at home against Heart of Lions this Sunday.
He emphasized that the Kotoko faithful will not tolerate any excuses or calls for patience if the team fails to secure victories.
He stated, “We need them to provide the results. We don’t want any excuses asking us to give them time”
“Anyone who lived or has lived in Kumasi knows that apart from food and water, Kotoko is what gives us life. So, the supporters won’t be patient if you want to experiment with the team.”
