Former Kotoko star Amos Frimpong has urged the club to stay focused ahead of the CAF Champions League game against RC Kadiogo.
Kotoko clinched a 1-0 victory in the first leg thanks to a late strike from Isaac Oppong. They will host the Burkinabe side on Sunday in the second leg.
“Kotoko played better in the first leg against RC Kadiogo. They could have scored more if they had been composed in front of goal,” the former captain said to TV3.
Frimpong stressed on the need for the Ghana Premier League side to approach the game with all seriousness.
“After the first leg, I told the players not to be complacent in the return encounter because I have experienced a situations where we traveled outside to get decent results and got knocked out at home.
“The game is not over until we go all out and win on Sunday. I told them in a video call not to be complacent. You underrate your opponent at your own risk,” he concluded.
