Former Ghana star Joe Carr has advised Black Stars coach Otto Addo to be firm in his selection for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year.

The Ex-Ghana goalie has urged the Ghana head coach to give the right players in form to play for Ghana at the FIFA Mundial.

According to him, the Black Stars coach Otto Addo should not give senior players an urge over the other players or players who are currently playing well.

He believes if the coach doesn’t favour senior players and select the right players, Ghana would be making impact at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later next month.

Ex-Black Stars goalie Joe Carr to Graphic Sports: “The Coach should not hesitate to bench senior players if they do not live up to his expectation. This is the only way to get players to give their best during the competition.”

Ghana are in the same group as Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
