Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, emphasized the importance of aggressiveness, confidence, and commitment for his players. He considers these qualities as the trademark of the record Ghanaian champions.
Following their 2-2 draw against Nations FC and in preparation for their upcoming home game against Bechem United in the seventh round of the Ghana Premier League, Ogum emphasized the need for these attributes.
The coach, who has previously won the Ghana Premier League, also highlighted the significance of preserving the team spirit that has been part of Kotoko’s legacy for many years.
“We always encourage them that they need to be more aggressive, they need to be more confident, and then they need to be more committed on the field because that’s the trademark of Kotoko,” Ogum conveyed to Kotoko’s media team.
He also expressed the importance of protecting the team spirit that has been built over several years since the club’s establishment and aiming to make it even better.
“It – the spirit – was created several years ago when this team was established and in our time we also need to make sure that we sustain and even possibly, make it better.”
