Bibiani Gold Stars coach Fritz Schmid praised his players after a dramatic comeback win over Dreams FC, pointing to their response and effort at Dun’s Park.
Gold Stars looked in trouble early in the Ghana Premier League Week 16 clash when Dreams FC took a 2-0 lead. The hosts responded with belief and fight, rallying to claim a dramatic 3-2 home win.
Reflecting on the turnaround, Schmid highlighted both the challenges his side faced and the bravery shown by his players.
“First of all I have to give them a lot of credit for coming back in this game and obviously we had a difficult start Dreams came up with an excellent game plan the took us by surprise. They exploited our situation at the back because we had a few shortage with defenders we had to change formation so of course it is logic that you will suffer a bit,” he told Bibiani Gold Stars TV.
The win lifts momentum ahead of the next league test, with Bibiani Gold Stars hosting Medeama at Dun’s Park at 3:00 pm.
