In a historic moment for Dreams FC, the Ghanaian side ventures into uncharted territory as they make their debut in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Their first encounter in this prestigious competition is set against Tunisia’s Club Africain on Sunday, November 26 on the road.

Ameenu Shardow, the Administrative Manager of Dreams FC, expressed ambitious aspirations for the team’s maiden campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup. “We wish to go past the group stages,” Shardow declared on Akoma 87.9 FM, revealing the team’s determination to make a lasting impact in the continental tournament.

Acknowledging the strength of the opposing teams, Shardow conveyed a blend of respect and confidence. “Even though we greatly respect the teams, we have examined the group and are aware of their strengths,” he explained. This measured assessment reflects Dreams FC’s strategic approach to navigating the challenges posed by their group-stage opponents.

Shardow’s confidence in Dreams FC’s ability to advance stems from the caliber of the team and their meticulous preparations. “Given the caliber of our team and their preparedness and performance, I am confident that we will be able to advance,” he affirmed, instilling a sense of belief in the collective strength of the squad.

The Kumasi Connection:
In an interesting twist, Dreams FC finds itself compelled to play its home matches at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, a decision driven by circumstances. Shardow acknowledged the financial implications but also extended a heartfelt plea to the Kumasi community: “I will kindly ask the Kumasi community to show their unwavering support for us whenever we play.”

A Call for Support:
With Dreams FC making Kumasi its temporary home for CAF Confederation Cup fixtures, Shardow’s call for support resonates as a rallying cry for the football enthusiasts in the vibrant Kumasi community. The team’s journey becomes not just a club pursuit but a shared endeavor with the fans.

A Historic Chapter Unfolds:
As Dreams FC steps onto the continental stage, the narrative takes on a historic hue. The aspirations, confidence, and call for support encapsulate the essence of this maiden voyage in the CAF Confederation Cup. Dreams FC invites football enthusiasts to be part of their journey, as they aim to carve a memorable chapter in Ghanaian football history.

As the whistle heralds Dreams FC’s debut against Club Africain, the anticipation builds not just within the team but also among the supporters, marking the commencement of an exciting chapter in the club’s football odyssey.
