Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC,, has placed a hefty $1.5 million price tag on their young sensation, Abdul Aziz Issah, as they brace for his potential departure during the upcoming transfer window.
Club president Mohammed Jiji Alifoe disclosed exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com that the 18-year-old midfielder would only leave the club for the right price.
“Indeed, there’s considerable interest in our players, particularly Abdul Aziz Issah and Emmanuel Adjei. Aziz will only depart for the appropriate fee. Anything less than $1.5 million won’t suffice,” Jiji Alifoe asserted.
The prodigious talent has garnered attention from elite clubs across Africa and Europe, fueled by his stellar performances throughout the season. Premier League giants like Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest have expressed interest, while Sporting Lisbon and Bayern Leverkusen are also in the mix.
Despite his young age, Issah’s impact has been profound, notably guiding Ghana to a gold medal victory in the 2023 All Africa Games and playing a pivotal role in Dreams FC’s remarkable journey to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
With 13 goals in all competitions, including crucial strikes in domestic and continental competitions, Issah’s versatility and consistent brilliance have made him a coveted asset in the footballing world.
