Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Elvis Manu has thrown more light on why he’s yet to play for Ghana at the senior level despite his dying interest to represent the West African giant.
The former Feyenoord Rotterdam striker says process to get him play for Ghana started about some six years ago by the Ghana Football Association.
“The topic started five or six years ago, but I have been seriously involved in this matter for two years.”
“Yes. The manager at the time wanted to appoint me, but my papers weren’t ready at that time”, he added.
Manu has been a long term target for Ghana and is now very much ready more than ever to play for the four-time Africa Cup of Nations winners.
