Dutch club Willem II Tilburg has formally parted ways and said goodbye to Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu Dutch-born Ghanaian defender .
The club confirmed the player’s departure via an Instagram post, where they expressed their appreciation for Owusu’s three seasons with the team.
In the post, Willem II Tilburg wrote, “Leeroy, thank you for your three seasons in the Voor!”
The 26-year-old right-back joined Willem II Tilburg in 2020 after making a move from De Graafschap. Throughout his stint, Owusu established himself as an important figure within the squad.
Owusu scored two goals and providing six assists in in 38 games for Willem II in the Dutch Second tier.
