Leeroy Owusu found the net, but his side Odense Boldklub were left frustrated after conceding a stoppage-time equaliser in a 1–1 draw with Vejle Boldklub in the Superligaen Relegation Group.
Owusu opened the scoring in the 25th minute, making an intelligent run into the box to meet a low cross from Noah Ganaus, finishing clinically to give OB the lead after a well-worked move down the right flank.
Throughout the contest, OB enjoyed greater possession and created more chances, but their inability to convert a second goal proved costly. Their missed opportunities were punished late on when Anders K. Jacobsen struck in the 96th minute, converting from Lasse Nielsen’s knockdown to rescue a point for Vejle in dramatic fashion.
The goal adds to Owusu’s solid 2025/26 campaign, where he has now recorded 1 goal and 1 assist in 15 league appearances, continuing to provide energy and attacking support from right-back.
OB will now aim to regroup quickly as they prepare for their next Relegation Group fixture against FC Fredericia on April 6.
