Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Ghana international Ebenezer Annan from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade, as they look to bolster their defensive ranks ahead of the 2025/26 season.
According to multiple Serbian media outlets, Feyenoord have entered advanced negotiations for the 21-year-old left-back, who has impressed in the closing stages of the Serbian SuperLiga campaign. Annan, a former Bologna player, has been monitored closely by the Rotterdam-based club, particularly in Red Star’s last three league matches.
Reports suggest Red Star are prepared to accept an offer in the region of £2 million for the talented defender, who played a key role in their title-winning season with 14 league appearances.
Feyenoord’s growing interest appears to have placed them ahead of Scottish giants Rangers, who were also keen on acquiring Annan’s services this summer. According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are now expected to miss out on the Ghanaian, with Feyenoord firmly in pole position to secure his signature.
Annan has earned two senior caps for Ghana and continues to be regarded as one of the country’s promising young defensive prospects. A move to the Eredivisie could mark a major step forward in his career development.
