Ghanaian promising midfeilder Jeremiah Mensah will play in Kerkrade next season. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder joins on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen and joins the squad immediately.
Mensah has been playing in the Bayer 04 Leverkusen youth academy since the age of seven and progressed through various youth teams there. In 2024, he became champion of West Germany with the Under-17s. Last season, the German youth international played for the club’s Under-19s. In April, Mensah signed his first professional contract, keeping him at Leverkusen until mid-2031.
In addition, Mensah played for various German national youth teams and appeared at the Under-17 European Championship and World Cup, among others.
Technical manager Rob Servais is pleased with Mensah’s arrival: “Jeremiah is a creative left-footed player who is best suited playing behind the striker. We are happy that Bayer 04 Leverkusen is entrusting him to us for a year.”
