Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum spent part of his 2023 summer holidays in Ghana.
The AS Roma midfielder who was previously known as Georginio Wijnaldum Boateng after he adopted the surname of his step father was in Accra for holidays and took time to visit the National Chief Imam of the country.
“Very grateful to meet the incredibly inspiring 104 year old Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the Chief Imam of Ghana and member of the National Peace Council.” He tweeted.
Wijnaldum also took time to meet his friend Memphis Depay who is also in Ghana for holidays.
