Ghanaian international defender Ebenezer Annan has officially joined French Ligue 2 club AS Saint-Étienne.
The 22-year-old left-back completed a move from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade on a three-year contract, keeping him with the French side until 2028. The transfer fee remains undisclosed.
Annan underwent his medical earlier today before the club confirmed his signing. Last season, he featured in 38 matches across all competitions, including 29 league games, scoring one goal and providing seven assists as Red Star clinched the Serbian SuperLiga title.
Speaking after the move, Annan expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s an honour to be part of this project. I’ll give my all to help the team reach its goals.”
The former Bologna youth player previously had loan spells at Imolese and Novi Pazar before making a breakthrough in Serbia.
AS Saint-Étienne will be hoping Annan’s addition strengthens their push for promotion to Ligue 1 this season.
