Egyptian authorities have approved full stadium capacity for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup finals for Al Ahly and Zamalek against Esperance and Berkane respectively.
In great news for the Cairo giants, they are set to record mind-blowing numbers in the second legs of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup finals.
Al Ahly will travel to Rades in Tunisia for the first leg of the CAF Champions League finals against Esperance Sportive de Tunis on 18th May at 7 pm at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi.
The defending champions will in front of 75,000 capacity at the Cairo International Stadium host Esperance Sportive de Tunis in the second leg which promises to be an interesting fixture on 25th May.
Zamalek SC will travel to Berkane in Morocco for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup. The second leg will be in Cairo in front of a fully packed 75,000 capacity at the Cairo International Stadium.
Al Ahly and Zamalek have been seen playing in front of small crowds in CAF competitions recently and the Egyptian authorities have given them the green light to welcome supporters to fill the Cairo International Stadium.
