Palermo FC have officially signed Emanuel Gyasi on loan from Empoli, with an obligation to buy. The experienced winger is returning to his hometown, Palermo, where he was born 31 years ago.
Gyasi, who is of both Ghanaian and Italian descent, has played for several clubs in Italy. One of his most memorable moments was with Spezia, where he played a big role in helping the team secure their first-ever promotion to Serie A.
His move to Palermo marks a special return, as he now has the chance to play for his local club and help them fight for success in Serie B.
