Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Boateng played a key role in Al-Orobah FC’s narrow 1-0 victory over Al Fateh FC in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday evening.
Starting at the Al-Jouf University Stadium, Boateng was on the pitch for the full 90 minutes, significantly contributing to his side’s success. Despite Al Fateh dominating possession, it was Al-Orobah who capitalized on their chances, with Boateng playing a pivotal role in the winning goal.
The decisive moment came in the 51st minute when Boateng threaded a perfectly timed through ball to Cristian Tello, who slotted home a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner, securing the only goal of the match.
This assist marked Boateng’s first of the season, adding to his one goal in four league appearances.
With this victory, Al-Orobah FC will turn their attention to their King’s Cup match against Al Qadasiya on September 22, as they aim to build on their recent form.
