Ghana target Eddie Nketiah is not in the list of 27 players to play for the English national team in their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.
The youngster incredible run of form in the latter part of the Premier League is not enough to earn him a place in Gareth Southgate’s team.
The 22-year-old scored five goals and gave two assists between February and the end of the season but was not enough to make him one of the 27 players for the games.
England will play Germany, Italy and Hungary in the upcoming UEFA Nations League in June this year.
His expulsion from the team could boost Ghana’s chances of having him in the Black Stars setup.
