England-born Ghanaian footballer Sam Amo-Ameyaw has signed his first professional contract with Southampton ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The 17-year-old has committed to his first professional terms only a year after joining the Saints from Tottenham Hotspur.
Amo-Ameyaw signs a three-year deal which will keep him at the club until June 2026.
He had an outstanding debut season at Saints, beginning with positive performances for the Under-18s and culminating with the then-16-year-old becoming a vital player for the title-winning Under-21s in Premier League 2.
Amo-Ameyaw made his senior debut on the final day of the Premier League season with an exhilarating late cameo against Liverpool, after scoring a brace in the final PL2 game of the season that ultimately secured their title win.
