English Premier League side Chelsea FC have bade Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul Rahman farewell after leaving the club to join PAOK in Greece.
The Blues have decided to finally part ways with the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC and Schalke 04 player after he failed to command a position at the club.
In a statement, Chelsea said, “We wish Baba well as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.”
Rahman’s time at Chelsea may have had its challenges, but his departure marks the end of an eight-year spell with the club.
The Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul Rahman officially joined Greece Super League side PAOK ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
He has signed a three-year contract with the club ahead of the season after leaving the Premier League side on a permanent deal.
He spent last season on loan at demoted English Championship side Reading FC.
