English Championship clubs Sunderland and Ipswich Town FC have shown concrete interest in signing Ghana young forward Kwame Poku Adubofour from Peterborough United.

The Ghana youth international is having a great time and a stand-out season with the Blue and Whites outfit in the English League One –who are currently fifth on the league table.

Poku has managed six goals this season so far for the club in the English third league with a scintillating and consistent performances for his team.

He has again provided six assists in the league for his team making his total goal contribution in the early stages of the competition 12 with a chunk of games still left to play.

With his six goals and six assists, only Devante Cole and Jordan Rhodes (13) have been directly involved in more goals in League One this season, while Alfie May and Colby Bishop are level with the Peterborough man.

The two teams are fiercely competing for the players signature as the window transfer window in January gets closer by day.
