Former Ghana Under-17 captain, Eric Ayiah, was in action for AS Monaco on Wednesday in their friendly game against Brentford’s reserve team at the club’s Performance Center.
The forward, who joined the club in 2018, was introduced in the last 15 minutes of the game and found the back of the net as his side ended the game with a 2-1 victory.

The game was an opportunity for the Monaco boss to give minutes to some of the club’s youngsters and it was no surprise they had much of them in the set-up.
The match also saw Cesc Fabregas, Aleksandr Golovin and Youssouf Fofana all in action on Wednesday against the English side.
Young Coombes strike in the 43rd minute cancelled out Akliouche’s opener for the French side as they headed into extra-time.
But Ayiah climbed off the bench to score the winner in the 77th minute.
The player is hoping the 15 minutes against Brentford will be an opportunity to get continuous minutes with the first team in the French Ligue 1.
