Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah was included in Lyon’s matchday squad for their pre-season game against Bayern Munich, marking his first appearance on the team sheet since recovering from an ACL injury.
Although he did not feature in the match and remained on the bench for the full 90 minutes, his return is a positive sign for both the player and the club.
Nuamah has been working hard on his recovery, and being named in the squad shows that he is edging closer to full fitness.
Lyon will be hoping to have the talented attacker fully ready for the new season as they look to compete strongly in both domestic and European competitions.
