During Thursday’s Landspokal Cup match between FC Nordsjaelland and FC Copenhagen, Ernest Nuamah, a Ghanaian attacker, was on the field. In
the semi-final second-leg game, he scored in the 13th minute to equalize for his team, after FC Copenhagen had taken the lead through Vikcto Claesson in the 7th minute.
Unfortunately for FC Nordsjaelland, they were unable to withstand FC Copenhagen’s quality, as the home team scored two more goals through Vikcto Claesson and Jordan Larsson, taking a 3-1 lead into the first-half break.
Although both teams scored two goals each in the second half, the match ended with a 5-3 scoreline after 90 minutes, giving FC Copenhagen a 7-6 win on aggregate and a place in the finals of the Landspokal Cup.
Ernest Nuamah and his FC Nordsjaelland teammates should reflect on their performance and aim to reach the domestic cup final next season.
