Nigerian defender Leon Balogun is eager to play against Nana Ampomah as Range play as guests to .Royal Antwerp in the Europa League this evening.
The two players had various stints with Herman side Fortuna Dusseldorf and the towering Nigerian is hoping to meet the Ghanaian whom he has heard so much about.
“I’m really looking forward to it,” Balogun told WTZ ahead of the game.
“The Europa League is definitely a highlight. It’s a great chance for us to experience a couple of European nights. ”
“Nana Ampomah’s name is already familiar to me, I’ve read a lot about him. But I don’t know him personally yet. It will be nice to play against him.” He added
Ampomah is on loan from Fortuna Dusseldorf and has played 17 games in all competitions scoring one goal for Royal Antwerp this season.
