Medeamae SC coach Augustine Evans Adotey has revealed how he has quickly forgotten the Al Ahly 3-0 defeat and how prepared they are to face Belouizdad.
In a pre-match interview, the 59-year-old shared his experience in the 3-0 defeat in Cairo, “Most of the media I would say wrote us off, counted us out that it was impossible to encounter al Ahly, especially at their backyard but me as a coach, I did motivate myself as well as my team”, said the coach.
“There was a hope I was going to come back with a point which we did until the 56th minute which was when the disaster started coming so as I said earlier on, the past is gone, and my focus is on
Belouizdad”, added Augustine Adotey.
On Medeama’s preparations ahead of the clash, he said, “The match is tomorrow, and preparations are going well. We had our last training session at 5 pm today. I am getting ready for the task tomorrow so I am ready for the match”.
Medeama SC will play against CR Belouizdad of Algeria at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
