Former captain of the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah, has broken his silence regarding Mohammed Kudus’ transfer to West Ham United.

Amid the ongoing excitement among Ghanaians surrounding this strategic move, Appiah’s endorsement adds an extra layer of elation, given his profound understanding of the sport and his close association with Kudus.

Appiah chose to express his reaction on his official X page, using a flame emoji and the flag of Ghana emoji in response to Kudus’ announcement video.

Joining the Irons on a five-year contract with an undisclosed fee, the Black Stars midfielder becomes the club’s third major signing this summer, alongside his former Ajax teammate and Mexican international Edson Álvarez, as well as English midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

Having arrived in London on Saturday, the 23-year-old midfielder is finalizing his move to the English club during this summer transfer period.

The industrious midfielder has been allocated the number 14 jersey and is anticipated to play a substantial role for the club.
