Explanations have been provided regarding the delay in the unveiling of the Ghanaian young talent, Ernest Nuamah, by the French club Olympique Lyon.
Despite having joined the ranks of the Ligue 1 side in a substantial €30 million deal from the Danish team Nordsjaelland, the presentation of Nuamah has experienced a setback.
Nordsjaelland’s coach, Jan Laursen, delivered an update on Sunday afternoon as Nuamah continued to be omitted from his squad. Laursen stated, “It has been a week since I announced Ernest Nuamah’s significant transfer to Lyon, yet the player’s unveiling has not taken place.”
He continued, shedding light on the situation, “Certainly, we would prefer all the pieces to be in place, but considering the scale of this transfer, there are additional formalities to address. We need to ensure that every detail is meticulously attended to.”
Laursen expressed the team’s perspective, “We are now very, very close, so we are optimistic that everything will align in the upcoming days. Fortunately, there’s still a bit of time left until the transfer window closes.”
He concluded by mentioning the ongoing process, “We have completed our part, and now we are in anticipation of the final formalities falling into place.”
