Former Ghana U17 & U-20 left-back Gideon Acquah, has officially been unvieled by Croatian First League side NK Istra 1961.
The former Medeama SC defender who has a contract with UD Montijo until year 2025, is joining the Croatian First League side on loan until June 2023.
“Today we present a new player in our team. Gideon Acquah plays as a left-back, comes from Spain and has played for Ghana’s U-17 national team in his career. We are happy to have him, we think he can help the team a lot and we wish him a warm welcome, said the club’s Director Andres Jornet.
The former Ghana youth left-back, however, expressed excitement after signing for the club.
“It is a great honor and privilege for me to be part of the NK Istra family and play at this level of competition,” said Acquah
He added: “I will do my best to help the team achieve common goals. I will not talk too much about my qualities, I will try to show all my good sides on the field.”
