Ex Kotoko keeper Mohammed Alhassan tasks clubs to pay players well

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Alhassan has urged Ghanaian clubs to pay players were.
Alhassan who was outstanding in his playing time with Kotoko notes that aside the porcupine warriors and  to some extent Hearts of Oak other clubs do not pay their players well.
“With the exception of Kotoko and maybe Hearts of Oak,  the other clubs do not pay their players well and that is a big problem in Ghana.” He told Dan Kwaku Yeboah TV in an interview.
“My time at Kotoko was so good. The IMC led by Sylvester Asare Owusu paid us well. We could earn up to 5000 dollars as a winning bonus.”
“Most teams in Ghana do not pay now. I will entreat every player to join Kotoko, if not, you must travel.” He added.
Alhassan who also featured for tge Black Stars of Ghana as well as Black Meteors is now dominiciled In New Jersey, USA where he is working.
In 2013 New York City FC wanted to sign him after impressing in trials but his green card was not ready and the move failed.
