Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor has conveyed his congratulatory message to Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku following his re-election as President of the Ghana Football Association.
President Simeon-Okraku was retained as President of Ghana’s football governing body for another four-year term after securing 97.5% of votes during the elective congress in Tamale on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
‘’I am very much aware of the energy you have brought into the Ghanaian game and wish to congratulate you on your re-election’’ Former President Kufuor said this when the Executive Council led by President Simeon-Okraku visited his Peduase residence to commiserate with him on the loss of his wife Theresa Kufuor.
‘’You have done exceedingly well in your first term and expects you to do more in your second term to get the game to a very good level’ the former President added.
President Simeon-Okraku will lead the Ghana Football Association for another four years.
