Ghanaian defender Jerome Opoku has expressded excitement after signing for Portuguese side FC Arouca from Denmark Superliga side Vejle Boldklub.

The 23-year-old English-born Ghanaian defender has moved to the Blue and Yellows from the Red and Whites outfit before the 2022-23 begins.

He has signed a three-year deal with the Portuguese side after impressing in the 2021-22 Denmark top-flight league for Vejle Boldklub.

He formerly played for English Premier League side Fulham FC and has been snapped up by Arouca after Vejle suffered relegation.
