Former New Edubiase United Midfield wizard Abraham Asiedu Attobrah has terminated his
contract with Belgium Pro side Koninklijke Voetbalclub Kortrijk.
The Ghana youth international joined Koninklijke Voetbalclub Kortrijk in August 2015 from New Edubiase Untied on a three-year deal. He however didn’t get much playing time and could not replicate the good form he had with Edubiase.With reports in the media linking him with a move away from the club on a number of occasions.
The 21-year-old in an exclusive interview with Sportsworldghana.com confirmed that all the parties have mutually agreed to terminate the remainder of his two year contract with the club.
“I have terminated my contract with the club because I was not having enough playing time, As a young footballer playing time is very important” Attobrah told Sports world ghana
” It was the best decision for me and the club, I think it is better for me to look elsewhere for enough playing time to develop my career than to stay on the bench and destroy my career,”
The dribbling magician also hinted that there are a lot of clubs after his signature but will take time to make the right decision.
” There are a lot of clubs who will like to have me sign for them but I don’t want to rush anything. I will try and make the right decision, Hopefully in the next couple of days, we’ll see my next destination.”
Attobrah was a member of Ghana’s Under-23 team that won Silver at the 2014 Chan tournament in South Africa.
