Asante Kotoko is currently in discussions with lower-tier team Kotoku Royals to secure the services of their promising young midfielder, Prince Kwame Dogbe, Sportsworldghana.com understands.
The club has been monitoring Dogbe’s talent since the previous management’s time, and the interest in him has been further fueled by the current Interim Management Committee (IMC).
Despite Kotoku Royals’ demotion to the Division One League, the 18-year-old midfielder had an impressive season, catching the attention of several Ghana Premier League clubs.

However, he seems to favor a move to the Kumasi-based club, especially since coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is a big admirer of the young talent.
During his debut Premier League season, Dogbe showcased his skills in 27 appearances, managing to score one goal and provide two assists.
Should negotiations between the two clubs progress smoothly, it is likely that the highly-rated defensive midfielder will end up joining Asante Kotoko.
Dogbe is currently with the Black Galaxies at Prampram.
