Asante Kotoko has officially made a move to secure the services of former Great Olympics captain, Razak Kasim.
The Porcupine Warriors are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season and have identified Kasim as the perfect fit for their defensive midfield position.
Kasim, who is currently a free agent after parting ways with Great Olympics at the end of the season, is open to the idea of joining Asante Kotoko.
Talks between the club and the experienced midfielder have already commenced as they aim to reach an agreement in the ongoing transfer window.
Despite interest from rivals Hearts of Oak, no official offer has been made for Kasim yet.
The 30-year-old midfielder featured in 30 games for Great Olympics in the previous season and is seen as a valuable addition to any team.
With Asante Kotoko making their move, it remains to be seen where Razak Kasim will ply his trade in the upcoming season.
