Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea are in talks with winger Solomon Asante to return to the club after leaving American side Phoenix Rising FC.
According to Oyerepa Sports, the former Ghana Premier League Champions have commenced talks with the experience attacking midfielder to make a return to Berekum to bolster their squad for the second round of the 2021/22 season.
Asante, 31, who captained the American USL Championship side, has parted ways with them before the start of the 2022 season in America.

The pacy winger was named the player of the season in 2019 and registered 17 assists that season to set a new record in the league.
He made 114 appearances for the club since joining the team in 2018 and became the captain of the club and won the 2019 Golden Boot award.
He banged in 54 goals and provided 43 assists in the four season he’s played for the club in America and made the Team-Of-The-season three-times.
Asante is the only player in the tournament history to win the Most Valuable Player or the Player-Of-The-Year in two consecutive seasons.
He’s the all time top scorer and the player with the most assists in the club’s history and remain the longest serving captain with most appearance with the armband.
