Ghanaian defender Bright Gyamfi has appended his signature to a two-year deal with Italian Serie B side Benevento Calcio.
The 26-year-old right-back has been without a club since being released by Reggiana in the summer of 2020 but he has now been snapped up by the “Witches”.
This is the third time Gyamfi is going to play for Benevento after previously featuring for them in 2016 on loan from Inter Milan and in 2017 when the deal was made permanent.
Gyamfi is expected to play a key role in the set up of manager Fabio Caserta as they seek to qualify to the Italian Serie A.
Benevento are currently third on the league log with 35 points from 20 games.
