FC Samartex have completed the signing of talented midfielder Abdul Latif from Karela United on a three-year contract, following a successful medical.

The deal, confirmed exclusively to local media, sees the promising youngster make the switch ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. Latif is expected to bring energy, creativity, and depth to Samartex’s midfield as they look to build on their recent strong performances.

The 23-year-old was a key figure for Karela United last season, impressing with his composure on the ball and ability to control the tempo of the game. His consistent displays caught the attention of Samartex, who moved quickly to secure his signature.

Club officials believe Abdul Latif’s arrival will strengthen their midfield and provide more options for the technical team as the club prepares for domestic competitions and potential continental duties.

Latif becomes one of Samartex’s first major signings of the transfer window, as the club continues to invest in youth and build a competitive squad for the future.
