French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have reached out to English Championship side Southampton FC to sign Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana this summer, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The Red and Whites outfit are back at the St Mary’s park for the possible signing of the former Stade de Rennes dribbler one game onto the 2023-24 campaign.

Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that, the French giant have tabled €25m to snatch the young Ghanaian international from the Saints to join the club in the French top-flight.

Monaco recently signed Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu from Southampton FC and have now turned their attention to signing the forward who dazzled in the league during his time at Rennes.

A hosts of clubs in Europe have shown concrete interest in signing the Ghana International this summer but have failed to reach agreement with the Saints for the young lad’s signature.

According to our sources, the two clubs have engaged directly for the transfer of the player as growing interest from Italy clubs makes it difficult for Southampton FC to keep the player for another season.

He scored two sumptuous goals on the final day of 2022-23 season against Liverpool FC in a pulsating 4-4 draw in the English Premier League.
