Belgian top flight league side Gent are bent on offering Ghanaian midfielder Elisha Owusu a new deal.
Owusu is one of seven players of the club whose contract ends in the summer of 2023 and the club wants to maintain him.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that talks between the two parties will start this weekend and Owusu could append his signature to a new two-year deal in the coming weeks.
The Ghanaian international joined Gent from Olympique Lyon for a reported fee of 1.5 Million Euros and has so far made 120 Jupiler League appearances providing one assist.
