The Ghana U19 boys side are set to engage in a series of international friendlies in Finland and Sweden in January, 2026 Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.
The Ghanaian youth side will play four separate clubs during their European tour in the two countries to aide their respective development. During the tour, the Ghanaian team, will play against the youth team of Finnish giants HJK Helsinki and also take on AC OULU and JJK JJK Jyväskylä before they travel to Sweden where they will subsequently play against Hammerby Football.
Having embark on an European tour recently in Switzerland, towards the players career development, the team will again, have the opportunity to engage the clubs from Finland and the Sweden to ensure they gather more European experience.
Management Committee Chairman of the Ghana U19 boys team Lesley Kuku Bartels and his technical team and leadership of the Ghana Football Association have been working hard to improve the team’s development as they hope to make the players smooth transition to the National U20 and the U23 teams in coming years.
