Ghanaian youngster Jai Semenyo is scheduled to be handed a new contract after which he will be promoted into the Cardiff City senior team.
The 17-year-old right-back who is the junior brother of Bristol City’s Antoine Semenyo has been in good form in the Under 19 league for Cardiff and his exploits has caught the attention of the senior team handlers.
Semenyo joined Cardiff last summer from Mangotsfield United and has been the darling boy in the Cardiff youth team with some good performances.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that plans are underway for his one-year contract which ends on June 30, 2022 to be renewed after which he will gain promotion into the senior.
He has already trained twice with the senior team this year.
