Ghanaian winger Malcolm Badu has appended his signature to a fresh one year deal with German Regionalliga side Enegie Cottbus.
The initial contract of Badu was scheduled to end this summer but he will now stay with the fourth tier club for one more season.
Badu made 23 appearances for Cottbus in the just ended season scoring six goals and providing two assists which caught the eyes of several teams but he has chosen to stay with Cottbus.
The 24-year-old attacker has already represented Germany at under 21 level but still eligible to switch allegiance to Ghana.
