Ghana’s Solomon Asante has finally left United Soccer League in America side, Phoenix Rising Stars FC, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm exclusively reveal.

The Red and Blacks captain’s has parted ways with the club before the start of the 2022 season in America.

The former Berekum Chelsea FC winger was named the player of the season in 2019 and registered 17 assists that season to set a new record in the league.

He made 114 appearances for the club since joining the team in 2018 and became the captain of the club and won the 2019 Golden Boot award.

He banged in 54 goals and provided 43 assists in the four season he’s played for the club in America and made the Team-Of-The-season three-times.

Asante is the only player in the tournament history to win the Most Valuable Player or the Player-Of-The-Year in two consecutive seasons.

He’s the all time top scorer and the player with the most assists in the club’s history and remain the longest serving captain with most appearance with the armband.
