Ghanaian attacker Ibrahim Sadiq was set for a move from Sweden to Saint Ettiene this winter but it ultimately fell through.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that the requests of Sadiq’s agents did not go down well with Saint Ettiene, forcing them to pull out of the deal.
The club deemed the player’s personal contract, duration and clauses demanded by his agents unattainable.
An agreement was already in place between the Ligue 1 side and Häcken for around €2 million.
Sadiq will continue his football with Häcken, a team he joined in February 2022. He won the Swedish top-flight last season.
