Ghanaian teenager Kofi Fosuhene Asare has signed for Swedish third tier club Sandvikens IF.
Asare, 19, moves from the youth side of Djuragrden as he continues his career at an appreciable level.
He was one of the prolific strikers in the Under 21 Allsvenka last season and Sandvikens are pleased to have him.
“We are very happy that Kofi belongs to Sandvikens IF. He is a player who can play in all offensive positions with us,”coach and sports director Thomas Gabrielsson stated.
“Kofi is a player with great potential. He is fast, technical, has good breakthrough power and is a good finisher,” he added.
Asare was born to Ghanaian parents in Sweden but yet to be capped at any level internationally.
He previously also featured for the junior side of Hammarby IF.
