French Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille are closing in on Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah.
Sportswworldghana.com can confirm that negotiations between the two parties started earlier this week and it has now reached an advanced stage.
Lille manager Jocelyn Gourvenac is looking for an experienced left-wing back and he believes the 33-year-old Ghanaian can fit the bill.
Asamoah has been without a club since being released by Cagliari last though he has popped up on the radar of several teams including Fenerbahce.
He made name in the Serie A with Juventus where he won 6 league titles in six years.
