The Nigerian Football Federation are trying to get Genk defender Mujaid Aliu Sadick for the impending world cup play off against Ghana.

Mujaid, 21, was born in Logrono (Spain) to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother and has played for Spain at both Under 17 and Under 18 levels.

Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively reveal that Nigeria are keen on him and initial contact has been made though he is yet to give a definitive answer.

Mijaid joined Genk last summer from Deportivo La Coruna and has played 17 Jupiler League games scoring twice.

He is also eligible to feature for the Black Stars of Ghana.
