Relegated Italian Serie A side Genoa are interested in signing Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Asamoah, 33, has been without a club since been released by Cagliari last summer and he could sign for “I Rossoblu” soon.

Sportswprldghama.com understands that the club has set a target of an immediate return back to the Serie A and they want to infuse three experience players into their squad with Asamoah being one of them.

Talks are expected to begin in the next couple of days as the player is already a free agent.

Asamoah has spent fourteen years in the Serie A playing for Udinese, Juventus, Inter Milan and Cagliari.
