Exclusive: Salford open talks with Ghanian defender Kevin Berkoe over new contract

English League 2 outfit Salford City FC have opened talks with Ghanaian defender Kevin Berkoe over new deal.

Berkoe, 20, played last season on loan at Telford where eight national league appearances and he is now back to his parent club.

Salford are in talks with him over a new contract in order to tie him down as lots of clubs interested in his services.

The left-back has previously featured for Chelsea, Wolves and Oxford United.
